Many drivers on the trail and in competition have found that adding weight in their tires helps their rigs perform better in many circumstances. The Trail-Gear, Inc. water fill valve gives you an easy way to add water to your tires.
1. Start by removing the valve core and allow all of the air to escape from the tire.
2. Next, thread the water fill valve onto the valve stem. Note that the push button valve on the side of the fill valve should be accessible.
3. Connect the garden hose to the adapter and turn the water on. Water will start flowing into the tire. Periodically turn the water off and then push in the valve button. If the water level is above the valve core, then water will come out of the button. If air comes out, then the water level is below the valve core. Once the desired water level has been reached, remove the water fill adapter and reinstall the valve core.
4. To prevent damage to your air pressure gauge, we recommend that you check your tire pressure only when the valve core is above the water line.
