Hey guys, I Just wanted to take the time and show off my 1988 Toyota 4Runner project. I dragged this thing out of an old barn three and half years ago and slowly been building my dream 4runner! It was my first attempt at any kind of major body work and paint, so it was a good learning experience. With the help of my Dad (whose worked on these Toyota's for 25+ years), we recently did a full rebuild on the old, tired out, 22RE using the LC Engineering Economy Rebuild Kit! We also installed a new cylinder head, Pro Torquer camshaft, long tube header, and a big bore throttle body. It made a huge difference how the truck ran...
