I bought this 81' pickup a couple of years ago and it needed some TLC. Last year I decided to pull the motor, overhaul it, and also brought the head and block (which was bored to fit .030” pistons) to a local shop in Hilo to have the head fitted with +1mm oversize valves. I also ordered the LC Engineering engine build kit with the Pro Torquer cam. This year I rebuilt the knuckles with new shocks, purchased the Pro Clutch kit, and installed the Twin Shifter stick on the transfer case so I can have 2L. I love this truck and I can really appreciate the quality and service from the LCE crew.
