Jeff’s 88′ Pickup

I bought this 88’ (wrecked) about 20 years ago, and have been working on it since. Sadly, it was in a front-end collision, however the motor was a very strong runner. Back then it was much easier finding body parts; so I was able to redo the whole front end (at the same time I removed the rear bumper) and decided to lower it as well. Since I did not have a shop at the time, I had it painted at a local shop next to my work. They painted it white with a blue pearl over the whole truck. Since I am a Union Sheet Metal Worker I was able to build the custom tool box for the bed at my work. I took it to a couple local shows for fun and got third (it isn't even complete). I ran into a problem about 10 years ago and hoped the Weber carb I purchased from LC Engineering would fix the problem, sadly it did not... so it sat for awhile until I had the money/time to pull the motor and figure it out. When I polished the valve cover and painted the motor is when I decided to remove the smog equipment using block plates purchased at LCE, which happened to fix the problem. Not bad since it only has 160,00 miles on it. Recently I have been using it as a shop truck and started building some metal ground effects for it. Sadly, that got put on hold until our new house is built, though my plans are to finish the ground effects, re-do the paint and maybe some more motor upgrades.
