Hey LCE! I'm running many of your parts and also dream of more! This is my 1988 Toyota Pickup that was handed down from my Dad when I was 15 (see original picture). I have put many hours in this truck and it has taught me a lot. When I graduated High School, I used my graduation money, plus some, to have a motor built.
Parts list:
- Forged Pistons and Connecting Rods
- Decked Head
- Adjustable Cam Gear
- Balanced Crank
- Double row Timing Chain
- Crawler Cam
- Bigger valves and springs
- High flow oil pump
- EGR block off plates
- Offenhauser intake w/ Weber outlaw carb
- LCE fuel pressure regulator and gauge
- Pacesetter header
- Pro distributer without vacuum advance.
After the motor was in, I installed a straight axle w/ 5.29 gears, and put lockers in the rear. The truck has approx. 9” of lift, with 40” TSP Super Swampers. This is a very fun truck... While running LC Engineering parts, it has held up very well to the abuse it takes.
