Alec’s 91′ 4Runner

Alec's 1991 4Runner his wife lovingly dubbed "Sage", has been in their family for about 2 years after being well preserved in a garage and driven only on weekends (there are rumors it may have spent some time relaxing in Mexico). Rolling on original wheels and shiny original paint, Alec's family makes this their fun and fishing trip rig, with the occasional car show thrown in. Sporting a retrofitted '82 grill/headlights and plenty of other LC Engineering parts including a new short shifter that's on the way, the truck has a permanent place in the family and they want their kids to enjoy driving it in the future.

“It's mostly stock, I call it a time capsule! Our family loves the truck and we plan to keep it for our children to enjoy someday. We take it on trips, it attends car shows and has won many awards, plenty of LC Engineering parts, I love buying from you guys, we just ordered a short shifter from you for Sage, thanks LC Engineering!”

July 2023 Update

The 4Runner has been with us for 5 years now. The 3.0l v6 is sporting ARP Studded LCE Pro Cylinder Heads now and making much better power than before. As well as an HPS induction system. I added a JDM snorkel and fender mirror from a Toyota Hilux Surf of the same generation. The reverse lights have been LED converted. Aftermarket long tube headers have been installed with a custom exhaust following behind them, the engine bay went through a "wire tuck" process where all wiring was re-routed through the right side fender and the fuse box was relocated to the inside of the truck. The truck has gone through a bit of surgery to say the least. It is still the gem of our fleet of vehicles and turns heads everywhere we go. It gets me to work every day and gets its fair share of trail time. Especially since we relocated to Nevada. We look forward to seeing you guys at the Nor-Cal Toyotafest coming up!
